he tells me that he already invited some friends for dinner... can anyone tell me where in Long Beach area do I find a prepared thanksgiving meal for tomorrow?

I barbecued a frozen turkey one year, in a covered barbecue unit that was too small to completely close the lid. it took 12 hours to become edible but it was worth the wait. I spent a lot of time turning it, just be sure not to get a skinless one for the skin can char without burning the meat. Mashed potatoes are easy and you can even mash them with the skins on and powdered turkey gravey is easy to make. Hey, don't panic. Just be sure to get a meat thermometer that you can insert into the various parts of the turkey and keep it away from the bones when trying to get a decent reading. Bones are hotter than the meat. You want the meat cooked evenly.
