We got the Wii - its in the house....and ready for Christmas. What games are recom'd for an older teen-boy?

specifically for the older teen boy - but any recommendation for just plain great games. What have you heard is really good in graphics and play.

They're all fun games. But if he's upper teens, the middle two are your best bet.

To be honest, it's not really a kid's console specifically, but fear not, there are plenty of games which are suitable for a boy his age. Boom Blox is awesome, addictive and suitable for all ages, Mario & Sonic at the olympics is good fun, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a great one if he's into button bashing - if he's into sports, Fifa '09, Pro Evo '08 and countless other sport simulators made by the same companies are very fulfilling and good at keeping people occupied, young and old alike. There's also a great Table Tennis sim. made by Rockstar (the guys who make Grand Theft Auto). Games like Wii Sports and Big Brain Academy are geared towards adults (hence the best possible age being 20 years old on Wii Sports), but both games are nevertheless great fun and certainly still suitable for a young child. By no means is a 6-year old too young to play these games - I suspect that those who've answered to the contrary don't have kids of their own; as we both know, 6-year-olds are often surprisingly advanced when it comes to motor skills and gaming - I had an Amiga 500 at that age and had no problems playing / completing my plethora of games whatsoever.

Definitly Zelda: Twilight Princess, that looks like it will go down as one of the best games ever made. There is also Call of Duty 3 and Madden 07.
