G'day,

I do not think that wireless router can talk to another wireless router. I have a friend who was in similar situation as yours and he is getting the device from Linksys and it works for him. Please follow the links (Linksys WGA54G).

Hope this helps and good luck.

hi, (ANS) so some distance as i'm conscious you may't link those 2 desktops utilising only instantaneous. How then? you may link them utilising an undemanding CAT5 ether-internet cabling with RJ45 connectors (jacks) and those connect into your desktops networking enjoying cards (nic's) **verify each and each device has an undemanding 10/a hundred networking card put in. **as quickly as the machines are bodily related by utilising an ether-internet cable you may then ought to re-configure your router to apply "Bridging Mode" meaning that for the duration of result you may have x2 networks working distinctive archives packet sizes and so bridging mode enables the router to translate one archives packet length to a distinctive and vica versa (It does this on the fly, so which you notice no distinction). this ought to assist you to share archives over the under pressure out community besides as conserving your internet get right of entry to. **See the routers set-up, configuration internet site or directors internet site. **make certain you hold any settings earlier you go out the configuration & reboot the router. desire that enables? variety Regards Ivan (some years in computing, MCSE experienced).

I get that your "routers" are acting as a wireless access point. Then no: 2 access points don't talk over the wireless side with each other.

To solve your problem you need a "Microsoft MN-740 Xbox Wireless Adapter."

If you are asking "can the Motorola be used as a bridge", then it will depend on which model.

Some will only work as an AP, other can work as a bridge - which effectively works as an "AP in reverse" for your purposes.
