I dont know about the rest of the world but Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Australia. I dont even know the date you guys have it.
We do have our own national holiday to celebrate the founding of this country and its done on Jan 26 every year - and its just called "Australia Day".
I wouldnt recommend a turkey tho, its too hot here that time of year....so i'll just "put another shrimp on the barbie" :P

Thanksgiving is still very much American. In Canada they also celebrate it but on a different date. For the rest no other country does.

Well, i live in Panama (the country) and i am american, here a lot of restaurants celebrate thanksgiving and what not but not as much cause its an American holiday.

Unless an American is traveling overseas, it's only celebrated in the US. Think about it!!! It's not a religious holiday like Christmas.

Mostly just American, although some Yanks overseas hold it, and some of those invite their friends and neighbors of that country.
Oh- Canadain Thansgiving has always been out Columbus Day, too.

Canadian Thanksgiving is October 10th.

Still American.
Were in Germany, two years now and our friends knew nothing of it. We have included them in our dinner plans, they love learning our traditions.
