I used to hate it but once I realized that it was just a language for expressing stuff, I appreciated. It took me a long time to realize that, though :). Math needs to be presented in non-math terms first,i think -- i think we get alot of math without the right context and we say to ourselves that this is just a bunch of abstract garbage and we don't see what the heck it's good for. Then we get some set of experiences where we had trouble with it and we then convince ourselves that we're not good at it. I got over that by realizing that learning something may take hours and hours of trial and effort and once you have one experience of that, you see that there's no such thing as you being bad at something (it's just that we think if we don't get something in a short period of time, then we can't do it). I recently started doing these cryptogram puzzles -- when i first started, i spent HOURS on a single one and wouldn't get it. I would then get closer and closer to getting it -- again, spending HOURS. Now, I can sometimes do them in less than 5 minutes. But if i had stopped after the first couple of weeks, i would have convinced myself that it was beyond me. I think it's like this with everything, especially math. If somehow we could see some level of joy or sense of reward from it, it would take on a whole new meaning.

I actually hate math until now. I really dont like to deal with those stupid algebra whatsoever. So stifling.
My aunts often yelled dirty words, screamed or even slapped me when i was a kid cuz, even once happened... until I was urinated myself cuz I was so petrified by them cuz I can't do math. I was not able to answer the math formula. I remember that moment.

I loved math for one simple reason: There is only one right answer.
In History, English, Science, etc, there are many times when you write out an answer and you are at the mercy of the teacher to decide if you are exactly right. You might know the answer but the way you wrote it is a little off from what the teacher is thinking so the answer is counted wrong, even though you were really right.
Math is not subjective. You are either right, or you are wrong.

I used to hate math, now I don't mind it so much.
I have learned to just apply the rules that are given to each problem and not to worry about how/when/why I might use the knowledge in my future life. It helps.
Just apply the rules and work through it systematically, it has helped me.

I dislike Twilight because of the fact it it puffed up and the fangirls are constantly saying that it is the final e book/sequence ever. it extremely is no longer. Twilight isn't something while in comparison with unique classical literature. i won't be able to stand it while Twilight followers spew that it is the final e book ever while they have not study something different than Twilight. the main character Bella is likewise a blatant Mary Sue and a self insert which I do exactly no longer look after in literature. I additionally disagree with the messages and issues the books inspire inclusive of being thoroughly based on your lover, women individuals wanting a guy to guard them continually, and how an abusive relationship is romanticized. i myself study and enjoyed the e book while i substitute into twelve and it substitute into no longer extensive-unfold. i think of it extremely is principally the fan females, fairly those in this internet site, that have killed the sequence and led to countless the non-twilighters to talk their evaluations as loudly as they have. It extremely annoys human beings while the comparable questions (which team are you?, isn't edward hawt?, and so on.) are asked persistently lower back. it extremely is like countless the followers won't be able to use the quest bar, fairly while it is composed of the on no account ending "is ineffective night sunlight popping out?" question. That questions only irks me every time I see it. I dislike the two the action picture and the sequence, having experienced the two. The action picture substitute into hilarious to me because of the fact all i ought to concentration on substitute into Kristen's (Bella's) consistent quivering and shaking of her head during the action picture. It regarded choose for to me that she substitute into having a seizure.

I never liked math until I studied differential equations. Never did that good at it, but it didn't seem to have a purpose until I saw it used to predict or describe events in the real world. I took MAT101 four friggin times, and finally got it.
If you get really good at math it will make you money in the long run.

Math can be frustrating some times. There are times when I think it's easy, and times when I hate it. I'm good in some strands and suck at others.
