i agree, your baby must come before your weight, and you shouldn't restrict how much food is stored, and a gastric band is obviously restricting the amount of food your baby receives, get it removed before your pregnancy advances anymore.

Gastric bands shrink the dimensions of the stomache and additionally limits the form of food you should consume, so they are very helpful in allowing human beings to shed pounds effectively. Now the undesirable information, the downsides to this form of surgical operation are extensive, first the prospect of the extremely technique, installation a gastric band is an exceedingly invaseive rocedure and is carried out below commonplace anaesthetic that's a probability in of itself however the main venture with the band is it doesnt contain a fashion of existence substitute. human beings substitute into obese because of the fact they consume extra energy and fat than they are able to burn off with the aid of exercising and at the same time as this HAS to end with a gastric band implant, it extremely is many times the case that when sufferers had the band bumped off they even if to old conduct and proceeded to re-benefit the burden that they had until now lost and each so often positioned on much extra weight. there's a controversy for gastric pass, yet except your wellbeing is immediatly threatened by utilising your weight then i could certainly urge you to choose for a non-surgical soloution. You don't want to have another surgery to have the band removed because you will want to avoid going under anesthesia while pregnant.

80% of women suffer from morning sickness and have difficulty keeping food down. In fact, most people lose weight during their first trimester. I admit that I haven't had the stomach surgery but I am pregnant in my second trimester and I am a fertility expert-so I have some knowledge at least as far as babies go.

I assume that your gastric band could make the morning sickness worse but with or without the band, it will improve. I want you to try taking 25mg of vitamin B6 three times a day. Vitamin B6 is healthy for the baby, it helps provide you with needed energy and best of all it is an anti emetic-meaning it will help your nausea and vomiting. Take it as soon as you get out of bed, between lunch and dinner and at bed-time.

Eating fruits and drinking fruit juices will also be easier on your stomach than other types of foods. They also have more water than other foods and will help to prevent you from becoming dehydrated. The biggest concern for pregnant women who vomit is not necessarily lack of nutrition, but lack of water. A baby can take nutrients from your body fat stores and bones but once he has taken the water, there isn't much left for you and it could be detrimental to your health.

Try the B6 for a week and if it doesn't help, go to your OB for some prescription drugs like phenergan. Good luck!

2 years ago my friend had the lap band done. than a year ago when she went in for a "tuning" she calls it she found out she was pregnant. The whole pregnancy was fine and she gave birth to a healthy baby. Just keep your appointments and rest. Good Luck and Congratulations.

I think I would want to ask a few different doctors to get some other opinions on that if it was me.
