The lobbyist-types, like Sharpton and Jackson, couldn't get elected most places. They're the ones that are revs. Most elected officials like Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, Charles Rangel, etc., are not revs.

since they have no history except what the white man has given them , it makes them sound important, you know you gotta hang on to something don't you? also they are smart to the fact they can use their pulpit for a political forum , get tax breaks etc, it also makes them feel some what important'
