Hendrix. By Far. Angus Was Ok, But Not Too Good. Chuck Berry Was The Best For His Time, But Not As Good As Hendrix. And Eddie Van Halen Was Good, But Kind Of Repetative, I Am Not Saying It Was Bad Or He Was Bad. Clapton And Jimmy Page Should Be On This List. The Top Three Are:
1.Jimi Hendrix
2.Jimmy Page
3.Eric Clapton

Hendrix did the most for the evolution of music. Of course he was inspired by the jazz musicians, particularly Roland Kirk. One listen to Kirk, and you can tell Jimi was inspired by him, even Jimi said so. I'm not saying Jimi was a copycat, he broke the rules in the same way Kirk did, just on a different instrument and with electricity (feedback).

I'd have to say Hendrix, even though Eddie is close, but Eddie says that he marks the cords ( or whatever you call them ) to know what to play ( he marked them w/ dots on the back of the guitar)

chuck berry well good too..

mmm choices

ok go eddie only because he didnt over play the music like hendrix tended to do.
