yeah but i did it last year and i regret it 'cause i had to sit there on Christmas watching all the other people rip the life out of their presents.

It depends how early, and what they are. If they are something you need before you would normally open them then sure, and if it's Christmas Eve then it doesn't matter.

yes wait and open them with your family , and friends why spoil everyones fun , part of the joy of giving is too see the expression on someones face when they open their presents ,
