I guess all publicity isn't good publicity. But come on when's the last time you heard the name Micheal Richards? I think he's a racist, to say stuff like that you have to think it. I mean when you are a comedian and someone heckeles you, you dont talk about his race, you to try to embarrass him or tell him to leave the club. You dont call him a name that has 500 yrs of bad history in it.
And his "apology" was the biggest load of bs I have ever seen. He obviously wasn't sorry. If he was sorry he would have personally apologized to the men he insulted, or gone on BET. But Jerry Seinfeld, always the classy one, scheduled for KKKramer to apologize on the Letterman show via satellite. Don't you think if he was really sorry, he would have scheduled an appearance himself? The only thing he's sorry for is being caught and having it on tape.
I guess now we know why there was never any black people on Seinfeld.

Whether he's racist or not, really, we don't know. A lot of people say things when their angry. What he IS, is stupid. You're right. The apology should have been in person, to the guy he called the name. And then, he could make a public apology. Too bad he had to wait for someone else to 'make' him do it.

Hard to say. Could be he was just pissed off and lashing out. I think I would have to have been there to make that call. More likely, I think Michael Richards is just a lousy standup and not witty enough to come up with anything intelligent to say to the hecklers. I wouldn't knock Jerry, Larry David, or the Seinfeld show too much though - sure, there were only a few black characters over the years, but how many Jews are there on Moesha? Or the Hughleys? Or the Cosby Show? Or My Wife and Kids? Or Living Single? Or the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

I think he is a racist, Obviously. It angered me as a black person who doesn't like that N word altogether, whether from other blacks mouth or whites. I thought to myself if a white person was rude to me would i say "oh you cracker @ss honky you brought my people here to rape our women and kill our men". I think that would be uncalled for and obviously i have some kind of racist about white people that would make me take it to that level. His apology was BS , he is just sorry he got caught on tape.
I thought it was very tasteless, and the fact that he is a comedian and should be used to getting heckled, i'm sure this wasn't the first time.

hmmmm! I wonder! Let me think about it.
Also, let me think about whether he is mentally unbalanced (even if it is a temporary state). I saw the scene on tv for the first time last night. Something very wrong. I would recommend a rest cure. A long one.
