Its not Randy...its the Raiders. I know you just said how does the team have anything to do with it, but look at Edgerrin James going from Colts to Ari. Heres the thing tho, Moss has top 3 ABILITY, he just isnt producing. Alot of reasons why........
1.) His QB's are terrible and arent doing what they need to do. Culpepper and Cunningham would just absolutely bomb it to him 3-4 times a game...now they do it 3-4 times in 8 games. He has the speed, the hands, and the athleticism to make those long catches, but his QB's (Walters, Collins, Brooks) seem to make an effort NOT to throw it deep to him, and when they do its uncatchable. I havent seen them do a deep route where the ball is purposely underthrown so Randy can stop and make a great athletic leap to grab it........he was the best at that and it hasnt been done but maybe a FEW times since he's joined Oakland
2.) He is a total ME guy...he hates the way things are going over in Oakland and he is not even giving 50% b/c no one else is. His team is awful, absolutely awful, so he doesnt care anymore. Its not that his talent dropped off, its the talent around him so therefore he doesnt care and doesnt try. Put him with a good QB and in a good system where ppl actually try and win, and he will flourish once again. But there in Oakland they are going nowhere and he's just a realist. Regardless of whether he tried or not, they would still suck b/c their coach, owner, and players all suck...

With no hope of even sniffing the playoffs, he's loafing.
He still has the talent, just zero motivation. He's never been a Jerry Rice, work ethic kind of guy. He gets by on his natural talent.
He's going to be this way until they trade him to a contender.
He is perfectly capable of catching the ball. The dropsies are just a testament to his mental lapses. He isn't focused, in part because he doesn't care.

You curiously provided the incorrect link, I clicked on it and placed a question about Boise State. That suggested, Moss' resurgence this 12 months does no longer wonder me. very last 12 months, he became on a Raiders crew that had no QB and also had no offensive line to guard aforementioned non-QB. problematical for any receiver to excel in a topic like that.

Moss wants traded and he even said on the NFL channel that basically he was dropping passes on purpose so they would trade him.

He is not comfortable with the team he is on. He is a selfish POS, instead of doing something to HELP them, he badmouths everyone. This attitude distracts his concentration. Can you see a parrellel between him and TO I sure can. Charma is tough ain't it!!!

Someone as selfish as he is needs leadership and a good coach - the Raiders don't have either this year. They haven't since Gannon left.

Plain and simple. His ego got in the way. I also think the guy above me has a great point in his last paragraph.

He always was a head case. He is what is a front runner, as long as things are going good he is okay and as soon as things go south he goes south with them.
