This is for all the fathers who have been through this and not someone just guessing. What were the things that you wife/girlfriend did or could have done to make you wanna leave? Things that would totally piss you off? I know you guys understand what we go through, but someone drove you nuts right?

Yay first time mom. I'll be as honest as possible.

(1) Don't lay back and be too demanding. I know you just hatched this kiddie and all, but do your part -- and not just the fun stuff like playing. He's still your stud muffin husband, he didn't become the hired help all of a sudden.

(2) This didn't happen to bother me, but some guys feel displaced by the baby. Every now and then, put the baby down to sleep and go back to the activities that created the baby in the first place. He'll love that.

(3) Understand he's got problems .... time, money, jobs, etc. Try not to jump on him with all your problems the second he comes through the door at night, or else he'll stop coming through the door. Things you absolutely have to discuss can wait at least until after dinner.

(4) You sound very considerate to even ask this question, I'm betting you have enough sense that it will never become a real issue. Way to go, and continued good luck.

No consistent discipline for the kids was a biggie for me. Also a lack of attention towards me but too much for the kids. Always support Dad in front of kids, regardless. No nagging and harping on things over and over and over -definite turn off. Don't sweat the small stuff. Accept the man, faults and all, just as you'd want to be accepted, faults and all. Don't be afraid to confront serious issues head on. Do not, under any circumstances, ridicule, demean or treat a man like a child at any time, especially in front of others. Don't try to correct faults in front of others. If the guy screws up somehow when around others, save the confrontation so it's in private.

Pretend that everything is absolutely fine and that we don't need to discuss anything attitude....you are just being silly I think were her words and walk away, so in time, I walked away.
Specific things:
Commit me to a tasks like helping someone install a fence without asking me. Many times she did that.
Assume that we were going to her families and canceling my visitations with mine near the holiday.
Her friends were always more important than keeping commitments with mine such as dinner engagements and refused to go at the last minute.
Instead of going on, what she wanted.....was the only thing that was of any importance and what I wanted was just silly.

Nagging, talking during TV shows, Nonstop phone calls at work, nonstop complaining. Those are things that most women do that drive us crazy. It wouldn't make me leave but might make some men. Oh also saying no when we ask for some lovin

Just knowing she was no longer working with me was enough to move on for me.If your not going to put 100% into making the relationship work, then get out before your love turns into hate.

She kept us one step from the brink of financial disaster at all times, even though we made 160k per year between us.

All the while pretending that she was the responsible one because she made her monthly minimum payments religiously (while the debt kept piling up).
