It's called a 'chamsin'. That is when there is a sandstorm and major heat wave. It usually happens just before Passover. I was there for it last year, and trust me-it's not cool! I drank about 3 litres of water the one day and never passed water in the toilet once because I just sweated it all out!

Are you refering to the Ten Plagues in the bible? If so, Moses stated to the Pharoah that a storm will come and take everything with it. Some interpretations list it as a hail-storm/thunderstorm. Not sure about sandstorm, but it may be a possiblity.

I think you thinking of the 10 plagues in the bible that mosses started in the old testament I not sure which book through it one of the first four books.
