I have a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign and am running into a problem that I don't understand. The car will start fine and run until you stop and turn the engine off. If you try to start the car back before the engine cools, it will start at first but when you try to put it in gear the engine will die. When the engine is cool it will restart fine. Any idea what could be the cause of this? Thanks

sounds like you have a bad coil pack and it gets overheated and then doesn't work.

. It needs an exorcism. You need to expel "Lucas, The prince of darkness"
