What making your house smell wonderful right now?

i am getting ready to go hang out with good ol Dave. he will pamper me, coo over me, hold my hand, maybe cook me some more of them there brussels sprouts!

Our family has a traditional "Green Apple Cake" that just came out of the oven. Tomorrow the Green bean casserole and the Cauliflower casserole along with the Ranch flavored mashed potatoes will make the house smell gooooooood!

We just had homemade potato soup and crusty cornbread. The pies are made and in the fridge...tomorrow we'll be gathering at my son-in-law's parents' home and it will be great. I'm having major surgery Monday...total hip replacement...so I'm not doing much of the cooking but I hope to do my share of the eating and enjoying my family. I hope your Thanksgiving is safe, wonderful, and blessed.

Curry, my husband has just cooked for our dinner. We have both had a s**t day at work and a frog from our garden came in the back door and I am scared to death of frogs!!!

Nothing, we are enjoying cocktails right now. Tomorrow we will be enjoying a nice grilled steak and shrimp with all of the trimmings, since there will only be hubby and I here. Cheers!
