can you use a regular controller because i dont want to swing alot i want to relax and play is there a way you can do that on The Wii surley there is please tell me and send links to sites

You will use the Wii-mote, unless you purchase the GC version, then you'd need to use the GC controller.

However, as an avid player of the game, I can assure you, it takes far less movement to cause Link to swing a sword then you believe. It's more of a flick of your wrist then a full swing. However, yeah, in heavy situations like being surrounded, you may end up just swining naturally in a frenzy.
