No, ammonia based cleaners will strip the coating off of the screen over time. Don't use 'em, instead, use a cleaner made specifically for cleaning lcd screens (every electronics store has them) or use a 50% solution of isopropyl alcohol and water.

NOO!! Regular window cleaner contains ammonia, which can damage any LCD screen. Try a designated screen-cleaning product.

I use an alcohol wipe that I get out of a first aid kit. It doesn't streak the screen.
