I am a a double major working towards a

B.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry
B.A. in Anthropology
a minor in Forensic Science

I chose this for my field of study because ever since I was about 5 years old forensics has always amazed me. With the Anthropology degree I can study osteology ( study of bones) and with Chemistry I can learn different ways of analyzing substances be it trace evidence, blood, stool, hair samples toxicology, etc. What I would ultimately like to do is to be able to identify or help identify a person and why they died so that the family's can have closure and so that if foul play was involved justice can be found. While it is very tough, I love my classes, and with Chemistry esp. if I get a Master's I will be one of the fews students who can say I will definately sought after for a job before graduating. The demand for competent chemists is high.

I studied Law because that's what I wanted to do. I took my undergraduate in Business Admin because I knew I didn't want to work for anyone else, so I had to have a clue how to run at least a small business.

My concentration is in real estate matters.

I won't admit this generally outside of other lawyers, where it doesn't tend to come up much, but I do pro bono work representing people that have or at least think they have been treated unfairly by their landlords. I haven't found one yet I couldn't get fairly resolved (if not to everyone's satisfaction) without litigation. That gives me a pretty good feeling about myself and my work.

As far as contribution to the world, I've long since given up the idea I'll ever have much influence on the world, good or bad. I take care of my family and friends, and strangers that cross my path that I can help. The world is a lot bigger than me, so I let it take care of itself.
