I dreamt that it was about the end of the world.
The sun had reached the end of its life and it was going to explode/implode(i am not sure which....i dont remember very clearly).
Anyway, all human beings are panicking and preparing to escape. We have to leave earth.
Just as we are getting ready to leave(in our space ship) i look up and see that the sun is CLOSE.....so close to the earth.....i can almost touch it.
But,the thing is we are all alive...even though the sun is so close, we are not being burnt alive(we are inside a building which for some reason in my dream prevented us from getting burnt alive)
And thats it...thats all i rem abt my dream
What could this mean?

I have very vivid, detailed dreams.

Yours is a classic example of stress relief. You are somehow in a terrible condition and you need to flee, but as close as the danger comes, you still never actually become injured.

Secondly, however you may seem outwardly, you are an adventurous individual internally. Your wild side is trying to break through.

What in you life is building or providing you with stress, work, relationships, etc. Satisfy those real life issues in combination with a torrid love affair and your dreams will probably become less fatalistic.

I believe that the meaning of this dream is: 1 - you had been reading/watching TV/or talking about this subject. Usually dreams are a reflection of the last thoughts before we fall asleep. This dream is not a warning of the end of the earth, as when the sun does - in a few million years - burn out, sweetheart! we will freeze to death. First all the greenery will disappear, no sun, no green life and we need all the trees we have to breath. So I really think you were thinking about the war, and that is this dream you had, it really makes no sense. And YES - everyone who dreams, has at one time or another, crazy dreams. Some people dream in colour. Some people have the same dream, over, and over. You should go to the bookstore, and get yourself a Dream Book. There are many, choose carefully. But remember, you must take what the Dream Book says as fact! - put a note book and pencil beside your bed, and write your dreams down when you wake up, keep track of them and see what happens, try for a month or so, and let us know. Be curious about life and ALL that it has to offer. Dreams can be an indication of a resolution or path to success and many other events that are coming your way. Enjoy, Good Luck and Keep On Dreaming!

My mother and I have dreams that come true-very specific dreams and I have some very symbolic dreams. First, I do have very detailed dreams most times. Your dream is very interesting. This is what I have learned about archetypical symbols. You dreamt it is the end of the world. Remember, all endings lead to beginnings even if we don't know what they are yet and the last part of your dream summed that up. The Sun is a most powerful symbol. All of mankind depend on it for many things. Perhaps that is why it was elevated to diety status at times. And through history man not only worshiped it, but feared it, as with any God of mystery that is depended on. So, that might explain why you feared it's power in your dream. But, you saw that you were not destroyed by it, which you deduced was because you were protected by a building(maybe representing your particular faith or spirituality). But, the Sun is also known as a symbol of bright beginnings or a happy culmunation of various endeavors to get to a certain goal. In essence, the dream might mean that you could be a bit fearful of an outcome that you are working hard to accomplish even though you have faith in yourself. Hope that helps you.

1. You are really the only person who can interpret your dreams, because you have personal associations with the images.

I have to ask you what your feelings are about your dream. Why do you think fire from the sun is in your dream? Have you ever been in a similar situation like when you were in the spaceship that protected you from the heat? (in a normal, everyday situation)..........Did ANY of the locations look familiar to you? What people were in your dream? Family? Have you ever seen those people before in reality? That might give you a better way of analyzing your own dream.

2. Dreams are a way we process input from the day/recent past, mixed with memories and images from our distant past, seasoned with our own worries. It's kind of like defragging your computer at the end of the day....sorting out all the bits of info into something understandable.

3. Although your dream was full of action and adventure, your dream sounds like a very normal one where you are being chased by someone/something, and time is running out. Usually it means you are preoccupied by deadlines in the everyday analysis standards.

It seems to me that the sun represents something present in your every day life that is unstable. It could be anything, or anyone. It could be that bad grade you got that no one is talking about because they're upset, it could be a relationship that might be going sour. your subconcious sees something around you that is about to implode and it's showing you that if you get close, meet it face to face, that you have enough protection (whether it be knowledge, family support, courage...) to not feel the heat.

Try to search for what the sun represents and meet it head on. You can take it, after all, you told yourself that you can.

What a cool dream. And I would say it is a positive dream that augurs well for your future. I would say you are going to face some sort of conflict/challenge or maybe are already facing that conflict/challenge in some area of your life and are not sure if you will overcome it. But if we go by what the dream tells you, then you are going to be ok and although it the going may get tough for a while, you will ultimately be protected from the fire (conflict/challenge).

#1 Are you having alot of extra stress right now. Because it sounds like something is going on upstairs(your brain) and it is bothering you.(the sun) And your brain wants it all to end(end of the world) Or your brain wants protection(spaceship&Building). You need to get to the bottom of it.

#2 Sometimes dreams are given to us so we have extra time to play.

#3 If you need any other help with your dreams just ask. I'l help.

#4 Smile and try not to think about the negitive things.

Dreaming of or about the end of world could mean that is some unstable or insecure mind in yuors. You probably have some anxiety about your current life and that is why you projected end of world scene in your mind.

In other word, subconsciously you may want to give up on something in life

I had a similar dream. When you dream about end of the world, quite often that means that you are going through some rough time, to be more specific you have a change of moods and a lot of emotions. Try to relax... whatever you have don't let yourself getting stressed.

good luck.

I had this type of dream more when I was younger, unsure about the future, and under stress. Hopefully you aren't engaging in self destructive behavior and this is your brains way of telling you to back off. The site below looks like a fun interpretation:
