just wondering.... I've always wanted a huge feast with my parents (both at the same time) and the rest of my family all of them.....with kids screaming and cookie dough and pumpkin pie and homemade stuffing....but instead I get a small meal.....NEVER TAKE YOUR FAMILY FOR GRANTED ;-)

You are so right! I grew up without a mother (she died when I was a year old) and when ALL of us were together, there were six at the most. Now my daughter has her sixth one on the way ...and my son-in-law has parents and siblings and there are foster kids, too. So tomorrow we'll all get together with kids screaming and pies and dressing, and chicken and dumplings and a big turkey and a baked ham and babies napping...and it will be wonderful. I wish you could join us!

Tomorrow I'm going to just spend Thanksgiving with my father and my children. Thanksgiving really hasn't been the same with my family since my grandmother died. I'm really excited about this because I'm making yams and homemade macaroni and cheese. Happy Thanksgiving to you
