I won The Prudential Spirit of Community Award Certificate I got it today and 8 other people won it too in my high school. I am sad because I did not get to go to the next level. Only 2 people got to go to the next level. :( :( Why couldn't it be Me! :(

In life, we always want to excell - and there's always someone better. You tried, you did well - and it sounds like it was a community service project? A very worthwhile effort.
Take pride in what you have accomplished; many times, our accomplishments in life will go unrecognized, but they are still worth doing.

hey, you made a fantastic acheivement getting one of only 9 awards in the first place - out of the entire school ? wow that's amazing well done.
if there's only two places on the next step then soemone's gonna get left off it, and sorry babe but this time that's you. This is the way of the world - not everyone can win.

I understand you're upset, but you need to get over it. At least you got as far as you did & did receive an award. Be happy for yourself & don't stress over getting to the next level. Take it with pride.
