My grandmother loves creating weird casseroles that don't have names. Ever since I was little I can remember her making this "pink stuff" for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. I've never liked it much though. All I can remember is that it has mini marshmallows in it and is covered in a light pink sauce( made from some kind of berry). I think it might also have coconuts in it (not sure) I mentioned it in my last question and a couple people said they didn't like "the pink stuff" either....so maybe its not one of my grandmothers strange concoctions? Does it have a name?

Ambrosia Salad. The "pink stuff" in the salad is a pudding based sauce with a little food coloring and assortment of fruits and berries with a close tint enough to be pink. My mom makes it whenever she can she loves the stuff....eeewwwwww...

I think it's a variation on cranberry salad (which no one likes but we have on the table every year and throw out after dinner!)

my grandma called it "pink stuff" too, even though no one liked or ate it, she made it every year anyway
I don't even think she liked it, but it was the only thing she knew how to make
