Colour is caused by the absorption and reflection of the white light spectrum. A surface which reflects all light appears as white while one that appears black has absorbed all the component colours. So, "black" is really total absorption of light rays.

Black is not a colour it is just like white it absorbs all other colours and white reflects all other colours

if you look at twenty different "Black" colors they will all be different but each is called black same with inks as you check them out one will seem to you to be what you think is really black
