They are in the process od remaking "Damn Yankees" (1958). In the movie a Washington Senators fan sells his soul to the devil to buy a pennant. Since the Nationals don't have quite as long of a streak of shittiness like the Buccos, the Bucs finally said screw it and decided something they had to be done. Oh yeah, that and they didn't want to break any record held by the Kansas City A's.

it's a very good public institution based on rankings (if that matters to you) and my own experience. i don't know what the first person is talking about.. obviously he thinks he's on the level of ivy-league or some sort. the medical/nursing schools are one of the best in the nation. pitt's also well-known for their philosophy department. i enjoy my time at pitt, and although every college has the "smart" and "not so smart" people, i do feel like i'm surrounded by intelligent people :)

Excellent philosophy department. One of the best in the nation. Other departments are also good. When you say a good college, you should think about the department's reputation first, before you think of the college's reputation.

It is a first tier university so it is good. One of my professors went there and he is a very bright guy.

I went there before transferring out. The people there are incredibly stupid, so it's easier to get good grades. It does have a kick-*** excellent Honors College, whivh is easy to get into because the people are so stupid. I had some very decent profs there. Also, the people are extremely nice. But yeah, full of retards.
