i think i'll remain single 'cause love obviously hasn't found me & I'm all right during the day but not when the night falls. before I fall asleep I fantasize about having someone lying close to me and giving me comfort.

It's not pathetic, it's called being human. When the fates/God/Goddess (whatever you believe in) decide it is time to meet the person destined to be at your side, it will happen. My father was nearly 60. I was over 40. I hope you don't have to wait that long, but if it was meant to happen, it will when the time is right and not until. In the meantime, use this time to educate yourself and prepare for that person--become the person you want them to find when they arrive. Good luck! :)
