I used to get chocolate raisins, and still do.
I used to love the way the lady at the shop held the bag by the corners and spun it round to 'seal' it up.

That takes me back, the shop I used to pass on the way to school must have had 2 dozen jars of sweets to choose from.
I liked Aniseed Twists and Sweet Peanuts.
Were Chocolate Limes the hard green ones with the chocolate centre? I liked those as well.
Looking at some of the other answers, how could I forget Bonbons and Rhubarb & Custard.
Last Christmas, my sister got me a Retro Sweet Collection, it had Flying Saucers & Sherbert Dips in it.

Cola cubes, or Rolla Cola Balls.
There is a shop in Cardigan, Wales that still sells these by the quarter.

My favourites were fruit bonbons and chocolate eclairs - mmmmm.
Our chip shop still sells quarters of sweeties (though I think they have to call it 25 grammes or something now) - but not my favourites, sadly.
