My current Norton Antivirus just expired, Should I renew it for US$22 or should I buy the new 2007 version for US$45?

I don't mind spending the money if I know I'm getting a decent product; ie: If norton 2007 is vastly better than a renewed 2005, then I'll do it. What do you guys think?

For sure buy the new 2007 version, it contains new additions, just to mention one : Security History lets you review detections and other actions taken by Norton Anti-Virus . it will sure protect your computer more. but why do you say it costs US$45 ? I bought it at US$37 : http://astore.amazon.com/antivirus-20

Hi, And Happy Thanksgiving Holiday and all. I recommend you go to Best Buy or a Store of your choice and purchase Norton Anti Virus 2007. Don't purchase it over the Internet. If you buy from a Retail Store you will get phone support, very pertinent. Go for the 2007. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Bye

If you have 2006 go ahead and renew. Things don't usually change much after just 1 year. That's why they offer the renew option.

The defintions will be the same, the way the program looks and how fast it works should be the only change
