Why the reason?

Politics.............if they truly went to do the job they said they were going to do. It would have already been over and our soldiers would be coming home. But instead they are getting ready to send thousands more over there.
Our government has gotten greedy over the years and wont stop til they get what they want, I am afraid. Or until we get other people into office.

We are not winning the war, we have not from the start no matter the banner "mission accomplished" we invaded a country on the whims of a president determined to finish his father's business, we can not win a war when the enemy is able to vanish into the general population so easily using tactics we are not used to seeing, just like in Vietnam. We have not stablized the country to the level it was in Saddam's reign, the people are worse off than they were with him, the terrorist are not giving up as we thought that they would instead all we have accomplished there is to serve as a recruiting tool for more to follow. We shall see Iran and Syria take in more and more refugees and when they do and treat them in a fashion that suits the refugees then we shall have more terrorists to fight in Iraq only then it will be the Iraqi people fighting us to win back the country so we are in a no win situtation, time to leave and let them sort it out just as we did in Vietnam.

Because we haven't fought a war to win it since
WW2.
We have our hands tied by people that won't let us use our best weapons.
We only dropped two bombs on Japan and defeated them without having one man set foot on their country, we should use it as an example.

It not winning,it the Sunni,Shiite and Kurds and fighting themself, so us has to police all three fictions.

I don't know, of the people who runing this country is not running it well if we had a good leader we would of won the war.
