Just get to know him more, talk about stuff that interests both of you - hopefully he will start to see you in a different light, but you know what - at thirteen anything could happen so if it's embarassing - it doesnt matter - it happens to everyone at some point in their lives - good luck!

Just flow with the relationship. Ask him to hang out but don'tworry about the whole asking to be a boyfriend thing. Guys that age aren't as interested in that. They are more interested in naturally having one girl hang out with them and enjoy their company. Focus on being friends the rest follows that.
FYI: They never grow out of it...

Girl, be young while you can. i rushed to grow up and do all the adult things and now I'm 21 with a 3 year old and I often think about where I would be now if I wouldn't have rushed to grow up. Enjoy it while you can.

i had my first "boyfriend" when i was 11. we just used to walk to halls together at school, we were never really open with each other as far as feeligs.
why don't you just hang out with him more, let him know you like him without saying a word. like write him notes or call him after school to see how his day was. maybe if you just hang out a lot and batt your eyes at him a little bit, it will develop without you having to say a word.

i feel ur pain i am longing for one, also. it's really not that fun. I don't have any advice for you, except spend more time with, make sure if he likes u, then make your move!!!!!!!
Life is hard....if it wasn't, though, we'd all be poor and life would be meaningless. You have to work for what you want and to keep what you have. God bless, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!=:))
