when you get the drop down list just highlight the item and hit the delete key

First, go to Control Panel.
Then, click Network & Internet Options.
Scroll down a tiny bit(if needed), and click Internet options.
*A box will pop up, and you will look down at the bottom of the page, and it says "Clear History"
Click that.
But before clicking "Clear History" make sure the # of days to keep in page history is set at 0 or else it won't delete right away.

go to tools on ur computer and put delete browsing history, every site that u searched in will clear. i was mad cuzz i did it on accident.
