Good band names come from a good personal tag of sorts. Try looking at the things all the band members like or have in common. From there you can either makes the name a coded term with double meaning, (Taking Back Sunday, Sum 41, Steppenwolf) Maybe even a catch phrase or just a noun, (Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Black Eyed Peas, Distubing The Peace), or you can make it some kind of plural name, (The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Killers) Sometimes bands will try and combine the two, like The Doors, or name the band after the leader, like Steve Miller Band, or The Allman Brothers Band. Combine your imagination and work together with your band mates. One will come to you and it will just click. Possible Suggestions: The Hicks, Cornerstore, Spinich Dip, Intensive Care Unit, Real Estate, Kool Aid, Split Shift, Visiting Hours, The Evil Monkeys, The Smelly Armpits. Ha ha just kidding. Good luck though.

Google "Troy McClure films" and pick a name from the list.
FYI: Troy McClure is the guy from the Simpsons that always shows up and says "You may remember me from such films as..." I always said if I formed a band, I'd pick a name from that list. Some of my favs include "Preacher with a Shovel" and "Eyeball Whitener."
If bands can get away with names like "Red Jumpsuit Apparatus" and "The Yeah Yeah Yeahs" then you can get away with pretty much anything.
