If you are cooking, what is going to be your spread? How many family members do you expect over, or are you going to see, and how often do you see them throughout the regular year?

Family Cook OUT!

I'm actually going to bake some goodies tonight when my 13 month old son goes to bed.... I'm making this homemade caramel icing my Great-Grandma made (along with choc. cake)... hers was the BEST, it's awesome... and I making it in memory of her- she and my great-grandfather died in a horrible car accident a couple of months ago... so it's really sad she's gone-she always made so many goodies-it was her passion... so the fact that I got her caramel icing down perfect like hers was, it's amazing... like she's still here with us. :(

I'm also going to make some cookies...gotta have some sweets to go along with the great meal :) She was the one who made it all... so someone needs to now she's gone. It's gonna be a hard first holiday without her.

On this side of the family, there are sooo many family members- my son who is now 13 months- it was his Great-Great grandmother- pretty neat he had one... so there are quite a few family members- I'd say at least 50 ppl.

My Mom's side of the family doesn't get together now that her parents passed away.... so since my parents are divorced, we'll go to her house second in the evening- it'll be just me, my husband, my son, and my two younger brothers- and mabye their girlfriend.

I usually see my Dad's side of the family quite often... but Mom's side, we only see at Christmas and really if anyone dies- sad! Makes me pretty angry it took my grandparents to keep the family together.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm going to my parent's house. My mom is cooking. We're having about 7 people total. I see all of them a lot through the year. We're going to eat, drink and be merry! And play with my uncle's new PS3, lol.

I am cooking this year. We are having ham, homemade dressing, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked beans and homemade rolls. It will just the immediate family. We are also invited to my sister-in-laws and my husbands boss also invited us. So much food, so little time. There will be lots of leftovers at my house.

Aren't we related? lol

Going to the AA clubhouse to eat with all my friends. Can't go to the family--they are all still practicing alcoholics.

It's a potluck, the turkey, stuffing and potatoes and gravy are provided. I'm taking sweet potatoes and triple chocolate cake.

Have a wonderful Holiday!
