Michael Richards has no right to say these kinds of things.
But the difference between Michael and Mel are that Mel is a big time celebrity while Michael is a small time stand up comedian.
Sometimes, it all depends on something that i call "Value of Impact".
It also depends on the media and the people who are affected by those remarks.

Even though it was wrong for them to say these remarks, i can't say that i take them seriously, since Mel was drunk and Michael was in a state of rage.

(When you're drunk, you lose your guilty conscience, your sense of pride and your self control.
When in a rage, you lose your guilty conscience and your self control.
Your sense of pride can amplify your state of rage.
I talk by experience of-course.)

At least, that's how i feel.

I don't know where you heard that it's okay...it's not. I think Michael Richards tirade will be more infamous than Mel Gibson's because it's on tape for the world to see. Racial slandering is never okay in any situation.

I could care less! Nobody whined when Steve Harvey and Eddie murphy made white jokes either. In fact I laughed! Nobody complained when Richard Pryor made slave jokes did they, black ppl. I could care less what they say and when you are heckler be prepared to get offended. As far as Mel Gibson, I don't care what he says, I just go watch his movies. Everybody has prejudice! Spike Lee is a racist and I saw Malcolm X, so again why do I care?

Some people can get away with it while others cannot. People have been looking for reasons to hang Mel out to dry due to his movie "Passion" Anything he does from now on or says from now on will be taken to the extreme.

It is not "ok" for Micheal Richards to say those things. Just because he said all those racial slurs doesn't mean he should stop being paid for doing his job.

Sorry, i be attentive to you probably did not recommend for it to be, yet your question is quite racial. In that, all voters of the USA, the two born or given citizenship, ARE a hundred% American. Ethenticity is quite distinctive, as one can be born in us of a of america yet have ancestors that got here right here from different international locations. That being suggested, no person is a hundred% ethnic American. yet, an African-American continues to be a hundred% American. not greater or under somebody with an incredible grandfather who got here right here from the U.ok. or everywhere else. My ancestors have been East Cherokee Indians. My history got here from American soil, yet i'm not greater American than a jap-American or a Mexican-American. This exchange into meant to be a 'melting pot' of distinctive ethenticities. some will argue the pot is complete, just to excuse themselves for his or her hatered and insecurities. we are ALL human. era. for somebody to think of they're greater valuable, only simply by fact they're distinctive, is previous me! the two way, i don't elect to be comparable to my neighbor. Nor do i elect to be distinctive than my neighbor. I only elect to be :-) large question!

I don't think it is "ok" for him to do it and I think you are mistaken if you think he got away with it. He will pay a price at some point. There are lots of people trying to figure out why he did what he did. That does not make it any less repulsive.

Because Jews have a monopoly in the industry, and power over this industry and other aspects of corporate America unlike, you know, those black people.

Because those were white people who stood up for the Jews. Black people are not getting that same reaction from white people. They have no sympathy for black people because some of them might feel the same way he did, even if they will never say it out loud.
