In the story, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," we understand that Huck has finally accepted Jim when he says what about Jim? I can't find this anywhere in the book. Please help me with this one question.

He doesn't ever say "I accept Jim and before I didn't"--but when he tears up the letter he had written to Jim's supposed owner, accepting the possibility that he will go to hell for not turning in Jim, that is commonly seen as a turning point.

When he says that he would rather go to hell if it means helping Jim escape.
