One thing you could try is to right click on his address. Then click copy.
Open up a new message and in the address area right click again and then select paste.
This should put his email address in the right place to send it.
Then just type your message and click send.

I am not sure I understand your question. I am assuming that you are reading your brother's email address either on an email or on a web-page. His email is underlined because the email program (or web browser) recognized it as an email address. If you click on his email address the email app (or browser) will open a new message with your brother's email address already in the TO: line.

Underlining usually indicates a link. Try it without underlining it and see what happens. I doubt it is underlined.
