Does anyone have good Christmas gift ideas on the smallest budget possible? (Seriously...like maybe $5-$10 a person or less.)

Thanks, you're probably helping more than just me. I appreciate this!

Something from the heart always goes further than a big ,fancy gift. Try and find out exactly what everyone likes and then put it together in some creative way. For example if your niece or daughter wants a Vera Bradley bag, go on eBay and find a Vera Bradley placemat. Stitch up the sides then go to a fabric store and get a nice handle or some thick ribbon. The last thing you do before attatching the handle would be to turn the bag inside out and stitch a diagonal line across the bottom corners on each side to form a small triangle. Turn it right side in and push in the corners to make a purse shape. Attach the handle and ... voila! For your signifigant other go to A.C Moore and get a small scrapbook and some nice sticker ( letters, hearts, etc...) and put together a couple of pages of the two of you and you can finish it together. It's so romantic. If thats too expensive, put together a coupon book. Its so thoughtful and adorable to make a book of things like " One Free Home - Cooked Dinner" , or " A Free Night of Romance". You could alter any of these things to fit any recipient. Good luck!

Homemade are the best but be specific, if someone likes candles, make a candle or go to the dollar store and purchase a cheap candle and decorate it in the colors and taste of the person. If someone is a music person, made a personal CD or MP3 play list. If someone is into baking, get a mason jar and fill it with the ingredients of a cookie recipe and include the recipe on a card decoratively attached to the mason jar. Be creative, maybe include a personal saying, poem or story that means something to you and the person you are giving a gift too. Us old ribbons from old clothing, the back of envelops for paper, anything you have around the house. This way you also do some cleaning and recycling.

Easy. Here are some homemade gifts that cost little to nothing.
If you have a pocket knife, a wooden carving made by you is priceless and costs you nothing. Knitting a small purse is a good idea, but those who say sweaters don't realize how much yarn and time just a scarf costs. I'm knitting my first one.
For girls, you can find good lip gloss at CVS for just $5. Even better, you could give people a small ball of yarn you made from a larger ball and a tic-tac container full of plastic beads for girls. Hey, you could even give just a bottle of nail polish. Boys requier harder stuff, and since you can't buy a video game unless you give it to 3 people at once, a potted plant might bode well. Chives is the cheapist and best for cooks. You can buy a small pot for your budget or even half. Small pocket notebooks are good for writers, and including a pencil or pen is cheap.
Well, that's my advice. Use it if you want.

at target the have a place where some things are $1 and others 2 for 5. you could put together a cute liitle basket or bag of things, and mix and match stuff from target with from from like dollar general or something. wal-mart also has a section of already made gift bundles. some of them are expensive, but you can get like a colorful manicure set (with all the tools and such) for $5.00, and some other cute things too. have fun shopping! ( i know its my fave hobby...)

Depends, but gift cards for iTunes or bookstores are a good idea. We get caught up with trying to impress with our gifts, but the greatest gifts that I gotten were those from the heart.

A picture of my grandson laminated to a bookmark means more to me than anything expensive.

The public library has lots of craft books. Look for ones with crafts made from common household items so you won't have to buy lots of supplies.
You could make up a coupon book with coupons in it for babysitting or housecleaning or other services that your family or friends would like.
