I think they will. Symphony Orchestras already play their songs, and most people will hear them and say That's a Beatles tune. I think it's safe to say this won't happen to the music of fifty cent, Madonna, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, etc.

Absolutely the beatles have such an amazing library of music.So many artists have done covers of their songs as well.I totally agree with your second statement.

I totally agree. The Beatles were innovators in American pop music and brought so much to popular culture. Honestly, artists today like Madonna and Britney Spears will never gain as much credibility and longlasting fame as the Beatles. It's probably kind of strange to hear this from an eighteen year old, but I truly believe that the Beatles, along with Elvis Presley, defines 20th century pop. Their work will always go on as classics on their own and in lesser imitations by other artists.

I'm sure that some of their songs will probably last a very long time. I don't know if they are in the Bach or Beethoven league, but they are the greatest group of their genre, pop music, and as long as pop music is around, the Beatles will be around with it, a few hundred years, a few thousand, I don't know.
