I dont see how you could not like Thanksgiving food. That is the food that I have been waiting on all year. Now dont get me wrong there are a few foods that are served that I hate but most of all if you do not like what is being served then bring something that you would like. Or just eat before you go so that you dont have to eat or be bothered with all the hub bub..!!!

I didn't see turkey or ham on there--so take yourself a big baking potatoe and throw it in the oven, a bag of salad, stop at a bakery and get a piece of whatever dessert you like. I know everyone says the holiday is about the food, but its really about being with your friends and family and having a good time!. I'm really a Thanksgiving food junkie (I'll make it in July!!). I do agree with you on the "pink stuff", I recall my great aunt making that too!!

That's OK, Thanksgiving isn't about the food, it's about the "Grattitudes" you express. I'm having a thick juicy Steak & Potatoes. I don't like that pink stuff Grandma makes every year either. Turkey is not Mandatory, but being Thankful for all the opportunities you have is!

it rather is probably your mom's cooking or you're purely somewhat somewhat choosy. Turkey is annoying to cook dinner. it rather isn't any longer meant to be bland or dry, yet this is the way it finally ends up on maximum folk's table. tell her to purpose a brine. It gets flavor & juice in the chook via ability of osmosis. what style of squash? i do no longer make squash each year yet as quickly as I do I purely roast it with some oil on it till it carmelizes then drizzle on butter, cinnamon, nutmeg & brown sugar. this is a advantageous & ordinary thank you to consume it and it makes it flavorful. i admire each and all the T-Day ingredients... my kinfolk & travelers consistently flow nuts for it. no longer a shred of leftovers flow to waste. Even our many times choosy eaters flow to city.

Why don't you offer to bring a dish this year and make something you do like? That way you'll have something to eat.
