Women...do you hate it when your husband expects that you should be able to read his mind?

My boyfriend always forgets to tell me important stuff and then wonders why I dont know these things and always insists he told me.
Example: He came home from work one day and told me some story about someones cat. Didnt tell me we were invited to his friends engagment party. Night of the party came, and he asked me why I was'nt ready to go. "go where" I said. He swore he told me the day of the cat story.... I was very annoyed, had to get ready at the last minute.
This kind of thing happens all the time....

I can read a lot of my friends' mind so I would expect for two people as close as a husband and wife should be, that one should be able to read the other's mind quite easily.

I pretty much do read it.
He's always calling me from work to ask me to do something, usually within 10 minutes of me finishing it
he works 2nd shift, and he sleeps in pretty late, but I always get this feeling 15 minutes before he wakes up, so I go make a pot of coffee and cook him something
I answer questions he hasn't asked yet, but was thinking about
I know what he's thinking about when he daydreams, and if I don't like it I tell him to quit thinking about..., and he yells back, "How do you do that? You're a freak"
Lately he's been thinking about his new female boss, so we've been arguing a lot about that, of course, because I'm a freak, not because he's a shallow pig

I'm not married, and I'm single...but I do live with four males as my room mates and they expect me to read their minds alllll the time! Like when I make dinner and they say something like "I wanted pizza tonight, not pasta!" It's like, how was I suppose to know if you weren't going to tell me?! Just little things like that I guess...

But I agree with most of the previous answers, I think women do that more then men do...it's just the way we are! :]

I thought it was usually the women who expect men to read their minds. I know I catch myself doing that all the time.

It's usually the other way around, we seem to expect them to know what's on our minds!!!!! It's just bizarre to think anyone can read another persons mind without speaking up.

Just remember to communicate at all times, talking is the only way to know what's going on in either persons head.

Actually it's usually the other way around for me. He says I expect him to read my mind, but I feel we are close enough that he should know what makes me happy by now.

perchance you gave her a demonstration of not being involved once you frolicked. confident... maximum women assume the guy to make that first flow as in doing the calling on condition that it grew to become into after a date, on your case it wasn't a date, so... it particularly is not as much as any of you to make that first flow, she could have called just to assert "whats up" and you have finished so as nicely. do not wait to call a woman some day's later, you will provide them the effect you do in comparison to them. in case you like the girl... call her day after immediately and in basic terms tell her what an incredible time you had. have faith me... If a woman likes you, she would be extremely joyful to pay attention from you day after immediately.
