There are racists of all colors.
Most would deny it, but that's usually a sign they are the worst kind. If they can't be honest with themselves, how can they be honest (or objective) about anything else.

There are racists people in all races. I would like to say the none-black racists are the worst racists ever existed. Otherwise there are black racists too. But I think black racists are considered to have less knowledge about themselves and their society. For example the Rwandan genocide was a conflict among blacks which remained a death of thousands innocent people. The reason of that was the so called white men, who taught the black people to have distinction in themselves. I don't think black people hate the white once. What makes the black racists to be racists toward white people is "History"!

I'm white and I grew up with no racism until I lived in a big city where there was money involved. I've never thought anything bad of other cultures, but stereotypes do occur and you have to keep your head clear. You will find racism existent in basic every culture, some people are and some are not. I've seen it firsthand, from and towards my own in my own country. It was really shocking! I didn't know I was hated so much for just existing. I didnt think any less of those who were though. To me, the underlying driver for racism is economic prosperity. People are jealous of each other's wealth, and we identify each other by race, so racism exists. Race is an old term, and it's more suitable to think in terms of human beings rather than colors/cultures/etc at this period in history. That's what I believe is the aim of multiculturalism and globalisation. We've always been separated from each other because we identify by religion or colour or culture. But, we are all just humans right?

the ONLY difference is skin color. in the general sense after that personal morals/values will determine other aspects of their violence towards the ones they hate. but to be honest hate is hate; no form of it should be accepted. And i know of some racists/racist sites that condone harm to children on the sole basis of skin color. The groups have been black and white groups i mean i know it sounds odd to say lack of morals condones killing of innocent people for stupid reasons, especially since to be racist means you lack some morals already, BUT it is true that those with moral convictions (black and white) will not do some of the more heinous things.

It is fed by a few people of all races. The problem now days is that everytime an African-American gets arrested or stopped for a traffic violation, they start hollering racial discrimination.
This gets picked up by the news media that broadcasts it all over networks. A Congresswoman who should have been in Washington taking care of bussiness, was out running around in her home state and got pulled over. According to the story, she claimed she was stopped because of her race-not her driving.
And blacks charge discrimination against their own race too.

There are racists on both sides and I think its disgusting, but its only been a few years since "black people" have been able to walk freely.
American blacks are still angry at the injustice that was done to them for so many centuries and decades. And the injustice that is still being done. Black people are ignored, look at their schools. In a country where they are citizens it is ridiculous for them to be called African Americans. They havent seen Africa in 400 years. They are born in this country and are considered Minorities. Who wouldn't be angry?
If the roles were reversed I'm sure whites would still be "spitting mad" too.

In America its mostly black and white - atleast on the surface - because of the whole slave colour thing and while new immagrants off the boat got to vote and live free, black people, who were 6 generations out of Africa got lynched for registering voters and had to sit in the back of the bus and couldn't walk in certain neighbourhoods after dark etc, etc.
Then our new immigrants import their racism...I'm sure not all Asians like each other or all Arabs or all Africans or all South Americans.
Do some US history and you'd understand why LOTS of blacks have an inherant distrust of the "white man". I mean, it wasn't until the 70's that it became officially illegal to kill a black man in the south...TRUTH (I can give you a list of Klans men who were freed or hung juried for killing blacks since the TIME of slavery up to 1967).
Sins of the father...I'm always saying it.

I really disagree with your take on black people trying to define ourselves as a separate group. Are you really that ignorant of how long whites in this country spent trying to define black people as a separate group? Of course black people see ourselves as a distinct ethnic group. Given our history, it could hardly be otherwise. That doesn't mean we can't work with others to address racism.
And lots of people - black and white - have talked about that issue and have roundly criticized people like Bob Johnson, the founder of BET, for putting out so much demeaning garbage on his network.
You're right that every group has its racists, but IMHO whites, as a group, harbor far more racist views about blacks than the reverse. That's not to say that most whites are racist. Most aren't and the majority have made great strides in trying to put race behind us. But there is a substantial group of hard core white racists and I don't mean just the violent kind, like skinheads and Aryans. I mean casual, going-about-their-business people who are utterly convinced of the genetic or cultural inferiority of black people and who are not hesitant to say so as long as they can remain anonymous. To be sure, there are blacks who feel much the same hostility, mistrusts and downright hatred towards whites, and they also show up. But they seem to be far fewer both in absolute numbers and as a percentage.

If you don't want to be thought of as racist, dont make judgements, comments or otherwise about anothers person skin color. Accept and love all as humans on the same journey as you are on and no one can accuse you of being racist. Its people who keep talking about racism that keep giving racism power. Don't talk, just be.
