The first one I remember seeing was "Bustin' Out" by Rick James in the summer of 1979. Discount Records used to have a television that broadcasted a show called POP CLIPS, which was the direct ancestor to MTV. This show was created by former Monkee Michael Nesmith.

I think the one that stood out most in my mind at a young age was Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video in 1983. I was 6 at the time, and I remember clearly being enthralled by that video. Too bad that he turned into such a nutbar.

some time past interior the day Michael Jackson made a video for the song "Rock With You" and Dick Clark debuted it on American Bandstand... It became into until now MTV even existed (no longer that they tutor video clips besides). It became right into a large deal... i won't be able to say that I enjoyed it yet I do bear in mind it and the sequined get-up that MJ wore... that became into basically approximately an entire lifetime in the past... this is the 1st video I bear in mind.

The earliest music video I can remember is Warrant's Cherry Pie video. It made quite an impression on my little mind. On a side note I remember the first rock song that I heard. It was We Built This City (On Rock & Roll) by Starship. Everytime I hear it I remember the first time.
