How is the carnival illusion of woman's head with snake body done?

The exhibit shows a woman's head, appearing to be on a table, with a fake snake coming out the back of her head and wrapping around on the table in front of her. The table is about 12 inches off the ground and there is no visible place for the woman's body to be hidden. It looks like there is just air under the table.

Not sure. But she could easily be standing inside a trap door on the floor. That would account for most of her body being hidden.
