In a normal woman's cycle, she ovulates once a month. It is approximately day 14 in a 28-day cycle.... but you can not really go by that.

it happens once a month, and normally only one egg pops out of only one ovary per month. Sometimes more than one pop out.
It feels like someone is sticking a needle down to one side of your groin. Some women don't feel anything. It happens usually halfway between your periods. (14 days after the last and/or 14 days before the next.

It depends, now that I'm past 40 I ovulate 2-3x month. It makes me sick to my stomach, cramps, bloated, tired and sometimes very horny. It could be a sign of other problems to. There is also a clear goey discharge and your temp. goes up.

If you're regular every 28 to 35 days and it lasts for on average 5 days but no two girls are the same. More girls are irregular than are regular.
It can be pretty uncomfortable, a very dull deadening pain in your lower stomach. But again no two girls are the same!
