Does any one know where I could find a newspaper article for the railroads in 1800's?

There are some at this site on the Central Pacific Railroad, under the title bar PACIFIC RAILROAD CONSTRUCTION — INCLUDING 19th CENTURY ACCOUNTS-

You can also go to your public library (or check its website) and ask if they subscribe to any databases that contain historical newspaper articles or if they have any local history collections or microfilm or microfiche of old newspapers.
