i am practice english and i really need to download news with text. in BBc news site you can just listen online and you cannot download any audio!
can someone help me!
also i cannot record any thing!

I just had a quick google on this and it seems this man predates the muslim religion by 170 years. Either way, i find the article just as incredible as you do for many reasons. Take away the terrorist groups and just talk about the muslim religion from it's proper aspect and you will find that adherents are restricted in modern mentality. That is in general the muslim religion does not advance with the times. Any great scientist muslim at that time would have been regarded as irreligious I'm sure. Couple that with the fact that I've never heard of any technological advances or great discoveries of science from this man and I'm left rather puzzled as to what intention the BBC has for publishing such a story.
