I have noticed House among the answers. Touchy subject my fiancee (financial burden FB) tells me not to shave so I look like House. I look in the mirror and think it must be wishful thinking or her part.

Grey's Anatomy, House, and One Tree Hill all are really really really good shows!!! Also Dawson's Creek.

Grey's Anatomy- a great drama show with really weird/cool/interesting medical problems every episode

House- Same as Grey's Anatomy.

One Tree Hill- A great show on Teenage drama. A lot of relationship issues. You can related to one or more of the characters. I'm like Haley!!! Favorite sport is Basketball their team is the best. Some of the stuff is not ligite though. Such as Haley and Nathan getting married at 16.

Dawson's Creek- The first version of One Tree Hill almost. Teenage drama original Girl next door meets boy next door. Very good show.

I love Sports Night.

Aaron Sorkin's (west wing, studio 60) show from the 90's was terrific! The IMDB community agrees, giving it a 9.1 rating.

It only ran for two seasons, which is a shame, but it was thrilling the whole time. Ive seen it straight through a few times and wouldn't say no to a forth time.

X-files - the early seasons, it was just fantastic. the story lines were different the chemistry as great.

Or Farscape - Even better than x-files, totally amazing characters, actors and puppets alike. There's been nothing like it before or since as far as I'm concerned. I hope they bring it back, although probably best to leave us wanting more I guess.

Star Trek the original series.
The two leading actors were Jewish
It addressed issues that could only be addressed in a Sci Fi context, such as the first interracial kiss.
Vulcans are cool. So are Klingons. Not so sure about Romulans.

Shameless. I never thought that family could stoop any lower and each week they did. The acting was fantastic. You really lived that family's traumas week after week. Roll on series 3. I also think the classic Fawlty Towers has to have a mention.

Seinfeld. It's still in heavy syndication to this day and many phrases from that show are woven in to pop culture.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to dig out my aluminum pole for Festivus.
