Nothing seems to be going his way (the dems are in, low approval rating, Iraq, and the list goes on). So what could he be thankful for?

Maybe he's thankful that the newly-elected Democrats don't take office until January, so he can enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas before they start to impeach him. (No, I don't think they will - there are more important things to do, and we won't sink to the level of the Republicans who tried to impeach Clinton for political reasons - we care about the country).

that he hasnt been impeached yet.
man too bad we dont have clinton anymore he was cool.. everybody got so mad at him for doing what over half of the men in this world do (having an affair) but then bush screws up everything, gets a war started and the list goes on and on and on..
thats some bs

I imagine He is thankful for his health, his family, that he lives in a free country and most of all that he's from the Great State of Texas! The same things most of us down here are thankful for!
