What do you mean you kill in Gods name? You kill because you have to kill an enemy in a war. It is always a horrible thing that we have all these senseless wars and all the people that are getting killed. God doesn't want all this killing, But God gave us our world and expected us to use our brains to do right, not wrong! I believe God has shed many a tear over us, for all the wrongs we have done.

Thou shalt not Murder sayth the Lord God
(Exd 20:13) Thou shalt not kill (murder).
The original Hebrew text of the 10 commandants said Murder not kill. Later it was translated in a different Hebrew dialect to kill encompassing all things but Murder is what God said.
(Deu 5:17) Thou shalt not kill.
Do not plane the death of a human being for revenge or for richly gain. God had the Israelites defend themselves and even attack those whom were in opposition to God's will. This was not murder but rather defence. War is and objects of defense even when it is applied to and offensive take. Why? The factor of Fear.
(Rom 8:31) What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

I'm not sure about that...but I know I cry when war is fought in the name of religion and innocent people are killed. It's a sad world sometimes.

don't know if the christian god cares, otherwise he would have put a stop to this foolishness by now.
But I know mothers cry when they send their babies to war. And they worry, and they spend sleepless months, wondering if they will ever see their kids again. And I know they shed many tears, for themselves, their boys and girls in uniform, and for the mothers who lost their children to war.

Yeah, I think we do. Too many people use religion as their justification for doing all sorts of cruel things to others. God doesn't like that.

IF you kill it is not done in God's name.
If you use his name when you kill you are using his name in vain!
