I can see me now on Christmas morning creeping down the stairs. Oh what joy and what surprise when I open up my eyes and see a hippo hero standing there! I want a hippopotamus for Christmas!
I just downloaded that song and laughed my butt off!

If someone in my family wanted a hippopotamus for Christmas, I'd give them what comes closest... I'd pay sponsorship for a hippopotamus in the local zoo for a year in their name. :) Sorry, can't give one to you and bring it to your home, but at least I tried.

That song brings back some memories. When I was in first grade, my class had to sing that song for my school's Christmas show. I have a daughter who will be five in two weeks and she loves that song!

I love that song.
But did you know that hippos are very dangerous to be around? More people in Egypt die from hippos than any other creature.

I've been trying to figure this out myself. My mom wants one and I had to get her a big stuffed hippo until we can solve the dilemma.
