Xbox 360 Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth Question?

The game slows up alot when I am playing. Often there is a 2-3 second delay in gameplay. This happens alot when I am playing and is very annoying. When I first bought the game it never did this, now it does it all the time. I have no problems with any of my other games and the game cd is not scratched. Anyone know what to do about this?

maybe you 360 is overheated. my friend said that 360 can easel overheated
